                    Ang paghuhugas ng pinggan ang kalimitang gawaing- bahay na lubos nating kinaiinisan. Kinasusuklaman, sapagkat nariyan ang plato, sangkatutak na plato na hindi mo naman ginamit at pinagkainan, hayan at ikaw ang maghuhugas. nakakainis lang talaga. Mas gugustuhin ko pang maglaba ng panyo kasya sa maghugas ng plato. Isa itong lapastangang gawaing bahay. Hindi lang nagpapagaspang ng kamay, nagpapatagyawat pa sa mukha. kaasar!
                    Tanghali noon, inutusan ako ni mama na maghugas ng pinggan. Naghimutok ako, dahil maraming plato ang huhugasan. Mga dalawa o tatlo nang aking bilangin. Tapos may kutsara pa at baso. At may isang tinidor at dawalang bowl. Nagsalubong ang aking mga kilay at sumayad sa lupa ang nguso. Isa itong gawaing babae at ako ay isang lalaki?oo ganun nga.
                     Nararapat lamang na babae ang maghugas ng pinggan sapagkat ang mga babae ay hindi makabasag- pinggan. Ang mga lalaki bukod sa walang alam kundi lumamon, nakakabasag pa ng tatlong pinggan sa dalawang pinggang hinuhugasan.
                     Ubos na ang pinggan namin sa bahay. Naubos dahil nabasag. Nabasag dahil ako ay nagdadabog. At kapag nabasag na ang pinggan ay mag- aarte-artehan akong nasugatan o kaya ay kinoconvulsion. Pang best-actor ang drama. At si mama ay nalinlang sa aking mga special effects.
                     Walang araw na hindi inalok sa akin ni mama ang mga hugasan sa bahay. Walang puknat na tila ba ay inaalok nya sa akin ang isang lechon at aayaw- ayaw ako.
                     Unang dahilan kung bakit ayaw ko maghugas; Ayaw kong humawak ng sabong panlaba, kung kaya minsan sabong panligo ang ginagamit ko kapag napipilitan akong maghugas ng pinggan.

                      At higit sa lahat; Napapagalitan ako dahil kapag nilalagyan ni mama ng sabaw ang bowl na hinuhugasan ko ay bumubula ito dahil nakalimutan ko palang banlawan ang walang hiyang pinggan.
                      Sinabon ko sya ngunit hindi ko nabanlawan. Wala sa bokabularyo ko ang magbanlaw. Kapag nagsabon nga ako ay gumagamit pa ako ng plastic at binabalutan ko ang mukha kop para hindi pagpawisan. Hay...Naalala ko tuloy yung kanin naming sunog na inihain sa hindi ko nabanlawang pinggan.
